We are delighted to announce the opening of Ayla by Aret Sahakyan at Macakizi, Bodrum

At Ayla, Chef Aret Sahakyan creates a personal and modern take on Turkish cuisine in the second culinary space inside of Maçakizi, which is already recognized for its amazing gastronomy with one Michelin star.
Ayla will offer guests a more intimate and bespoke alternative to the already famed Maçakizi restaurant. The menu is bursting with intense flavours that chef Aret achieves by sourcing produce locally, by giving big importance to seasonality and ethically minded producers, farmers and fisherman.

The space is nothing short of spectacular. Guests arrive into a beautiful art-filled bar area filled with custom made open kitchen and one big table. The adjoining open air dining area has five more tables and a breathtaking view.

On the two lower levels you’ll find an impressive wine cellar, filled with the best Turkish and international labels, and at sea level there is a big table for groups where guests will feel like they’re basically eating over the water.
