Originally built in the 12th century, Palazzo Avino (formerly Palazzo Sasso) is an authentic architectural masterpiece refurbished to the standards of a deluxe five-star hotel, situated on the highest part of Ravello on the stunning Amalfi Coast.
There are 43 rooms in total, including 11 suites with breathtaking views and a unique Clubhouse by the Sea, located in the small town of Marmorata, just a 15 minute drive from Ravello.
Palazzo Sasso was part of the Limited Edition by Virgin collection so we have a long history with the property. Early 2012, the Managing Director contacted Highlife to help rebrand the hotel as Palazzo Avino, taking on the well respected family name. A few years on the industry has embraced the name change, the result of our clear communication and thorough training on behalf of the hotel. The hotel has gone from strength to strength with annual growth from the UK market and good average rates.
